In the span of 2 years, two airlines was wrecked, Batavia Air in the early 2013 and Pacific Royale in the late of 2012. The two airline themselves actually played on different fields, Pacific Royale which was the share owned by indian business man arround 49% played in full-service class, while the Batavia Air played in medium-service. In the beginning, Pacific Royale is expected to compete with Garuda Indonesia in full-service class yet less than 1 year the airline faced problem and forced to stop flight by the authority since the late 2012.

Too bad to be true, Batavia Air which was established in the beginning 2002 was punished bankcrupt by the court business administration due to the dept which burdened company's financial. Whereas before it was declared bankrupt, the company was about to be acquired by Air Asia Indonesia yet the deal was canceled due to some reasons specially in debt burden.

It was very unfortunately, when the passengers of airline in indonesia is growing up due to economic development the two airlines was bankcrupt instead, it was like anomaly. Indonesia which is currently one of the leading growing middle-class in the world with economic growing keeps steadily more than 6% emerged as one of fastest economic growing among G-20 countries.

In other hand, there are new players which is trying to catch the lucrative market of Indonesia, the local layer such as Mandala air which is collaborated with Tiger Airways of singapore, Indonesia Air, and also Sky Aviation and etc. So, are you the next player to enter Indonesia lucrative market?
